Amie had felt betrayed.
She had just discovered his messages to that girl.
About thoughts of Love. And Life.
She had read those messages, thoughtful, meaningful.
He was seeking a private conversation. He was seeking to get intimate with that girl.
He actually insisted for that girl to reply when she did not, he was insisting to get that girl's replies.
In the same flirting way he used to have also when writing to Amie at the beginning.
Amie couldn't help seeing that it was the exact same way.
'Why couldn't he talk to me about Love and Life?' thought Amie. 'Why does he need to get answers about the true nature of Love from some other girl?', tears rolling down her cheeks.
Was he betraying her? Had he ever thought of it? Would he be able to cheat on her if only he had the chance to?
Was that girl somewhat similar to her?
Was he losing interest in their relationship?
Was he still in love with her?
Were they still as one, back then?
Or, perhaps, was he already feeling the need to replace her with some other girl as long as they could talk about Love as He and Amie once did?
Awful awful awful thoughts, Amie was overwhelmed.
Useless questions, dated once upon another time. And yet no answers.
'It shouldn't matter anymore', thought Amie, still wondering why something of her past life, happened 5 months ago, was still bothering her.
But for that, she eventually found the answer.
That time was the first time, the very first time, once upon another time, when she felt she was no longer the only person with whom he could open up.
She felt she was no longer the only person he was seeking.
For the first time, she was no longer the person with whom he needed to get intimate talking about Love and Life.
And what is worse, he did that, albeit unconsciously, hopefully unconsciously in the same way he had once upon that other time, conquered her.
