In the cards of New Orleans, spirits say goodbye

A woman in flames of passion, left there to die, not sure why. A man looking for the truth, soul searching, where, I wouldn't know. Victory and Success between them. His temptation, his workaholic temptations, weighting him, them down. Her memories of love, the ones he dismisses cruelly. His memories of love, the ones he doesn't know how to overcome. A spiritual union in the cards, these are the omens between them.  At the back of a voodoo shop in New Orleans' French Quarter, with a woman named Louise. Hold on to it, hold on to him, she said. Reality is that you will be attracted to way more people than you will be ever able to fall in love with or even like sometimes. Physical attraction has nothing to do with respect and viceversa. Reality is, if you think about it for a second, that there is no guarantee that if you fall today, you'll still feel like falling tomorrow. It's just the air around you, that makes you fall. Reality is that you keep on waiting for someone to sweep you off your feet, for that feeling you felt once, twice and was nevertheless just a mild glittering light rather than the gold you thought.  So what are you really waiting for? Reality is that we all measure love by its failures. What went wrong. What could have been done differently. Should, could, would. Instead of learning what went right, even in the separation.
