And then there was a bench,
a bench by a lake,
and weird animals around
and fishes in the water.
And there was she, with a weird red belt and a cute red hat
and there was he, with his scented skin and his talkative eyes.
He looked like a spring, like a fountain to her
pouring water, promising relief
he seemed so refreshing and she was so thirsty.
She waited there, waiting for him to come and refresh her.
But he stood right at two centimetres from her,
she could smell his smell, breath his breathe,
without moving, without talking,
without handing her a single drop of water,
But he smiled the most beautiful smile.
And then she realized...
Fountains or springs do not water people intentionally,
they do not quench someone's thirst because they want to.
They just water themselves, then people come and refresh out of their own choice.
Whoever has something fresh to offer
cannot waste it to just water any pedestrian,
anyone that crosses our way.
It is the thirsty pedestrian who needs to move forward to the well.
And then she moved and kissed him.

I guess you are right,
'Fountains or springs do not water people intentionally...'
Nobody does anything completely empty of self-esteem.
A well-of-desire can do all that you want, priceless things, but even so they need a humble coin thrown in its waters by you, in order to hear you!
