Missing the Unmissable

Sometimes you miss someone,
and you know * How To Detect When Missing is More than Missing *
but you simply don't think that the person your heart misses
is still alive.

He/She might be dormant in someone,
who has today the same body, the same smile, the same eyes,
but it's not the same person anymore.

You miss someone and the way you felt about him/her and with him/her.
Though job to realise whether you miss the person or just the situation.
And you feel naked and exposed
while you concentrate on every beat of your heart to understand why it is beating.

And even if it is truly the person you miss,
what really hurts you is that even though you find the courage
and go and look for that person again,
you will not find her, cause he/she is dead, has been dead for a while and happy to be so,
cause he/she is so much better the way he/she is now.

Sometimes you see in people something that is not there, or simply
it is there for a short period of time.
You see a light in someone's heart and you are lucky
cause it is a light that only glows for a short while in that person's life.

And then, when the lights go away, that person is just a normal person,
and whom you were used to know doesn't exist anymore.

So yes, you dream about him/her,
but you know you dream about someone who will never cross your stars anymore.

And even though your missing is more than missing,
unless that person comes back as you knew him/her,
well, there is nothing you can do.

I remember feeling naked and exposed when someones "heart light" went out. Three years later I was at a party ( this is a true story) and she said 'you could have had all this..once' and I got totally freaked out because the heat light seemed to go back on just the way she said it, open in front of people. She got married like a month before. The party was at thier new house her super rich parents gave them for a wedding present. Not that it matters at all but Iwas wondering if thats what she meant?? Anyhow the spark died down an now isnt a big deal luckily. She was a gorgeous and really smart girl, but the funny part is,and I swear this is the truth and shows how lame I am, she had blonde hair and not the black I love so much!!! Dont hate me for being honestly admitting Im shallow but the real truth is that the love didnt last, and it seems we dont control that unless we are for some reason super determined for some reason to re ignite a spark.

This is precisely what I meant actually.
After the light is gone unless you really are committed to see through the light itself because the spark wasn't just temporary but maybe a bit more real, there's nothing you can do to avoid going back to black, say thank you very much to that person and just accept that the love is gone.

Some other times, you realize that even though you met someone special, that being special was just temporary and that person is different in reality and love was the only thing making him be and perceived differently.

Alla in all, with time you can realise that either the person you miss is somehow soneone you really love, or that person doesn't really meet your expectations anymore, so you just miss a memory.

And your story, for which I thank you, proves exactly that...apart of course from the fact that she was blonde and we don't like blond girls! :)

that there is dark and light hair and that many people like one more the other, and all the theories as to why that is...the strange part seems that it doesn;t matter why because its hard to prove why you like something.now that i think about it the idea of just liking something is so complex that it may also be absurd.
i like this more than that because...and that can change to i dont like any more and the reasons we like things and people . i can personify anything and have a relationship. Is that what some people do? maybe my soulmate really is my pillow after all

ehheheheheehhehehehehehhehehheeheh absolutely agree, but isn't a way to avoid relationship the fact that we can personlify anything and become attach to it? After all, all we want is intimacy, but sometimes we are so afraid of it that we hide behind these kinds of 'likes' 'unlikes'.
I am sure your pillows loves you back! are your poems for it then??:)

I miss the people I knew, but I also feel I miss even more the people they could become.
And I try to keep in mind, what they could become, not what I want them to become.
In particular of course; my SM, my Zahir, or whatever name(s) turns out to be true.
Is that even possible? I guess not. Can't really miss what hasn't happened. Confusing myself now.

And it's funny I read your post now.
Today I wrote about my first all-consuming Love. But forgot to mention some questions I had back then when we could no longer be together.

Did I miss Her? Did I Love Her?
or was it:
Did I miss being in love with Love??
Was I just in love with Love?

No sorrys... it's your blog :)

Yes I miss Love, but the Love I miss so much is manifested in one person. They're one in the same for me I'm sure.

Lucky you are busy. I had some tough days, busy in my head and heart. :(

Let me be your Muse

Breathing is just a rhythm. Let me help you create the music. Let me be your Muse, the one lightening you. Living is not believing. Let me help you believe in something more. Let me be the one driving your pen, kindling your inner language, pulling it all out. Let me speak your language, let me teach you my language. Do trust me, do let me enter. Do talk to me, as if I was a song to be written, Please, please, let me light your sun, the sun you are suffocating inside your dark soul. Let me be your Muse, that is all I've ever needed, all I've ever wanted. To be your Muse. Play my music, act my script, please, listen to my words, recite them, recite them all, but not as if they were cold and heartless, do take them in you, make them yours. Let them inspire you. Let my words inflame you. Let me inspire and inflame you. Don't ask me to be one among the others, Do not oblige me to remain silent and to hide who I am. Do not ask normality of me, Dare an...

Because He is the One

They say that when you meet the One you feel it, deep inside of you, something tingles. You try to suffocate  it because there is no way you can be right, after all the times you have been wrong. And certainly he is not the One. He can't be, he will try to escape, from you, from commitment, from intimacy, from proximity. They say that there is a moment, in everyone's life, when you know that you need to fight. And fight harder for a love, or something really similar to love, that is slipping away, that is not blossoming as it should. What happens, when do you know when is the right time to start fighting? Perhaps when do you feel that he is the One? Or when is it that you let it go instead and accept that it is over? They say that the more you grow up the more you learn to know what you like and what you will never like. They say that at some point you are bound to find people who seems to be the right ones and are not, just because of the circumstances. So...

Millennium Bridge

Mid Afternoon, with the Millennium Bridge embraced by such a weird sun, too powerful to be London, too bright. One never gets to appreciate how big is the bridge until one sees the people walking down it. Stories passing by. So humble. And suddenly I remember that night when I called him because some romantic musician was playing 'Let it be' on the bridge. And those lights...oh those lights on the Millennium bridge that night. In my eyes. Trapped in my heart. And I remember how he was touched by this gesture. One of my usual silly romantic gestures. I sit on some stone stairs which lead directly to the water of the Thames. Directly in the river. Dirty waters but smelling of summer, today, kissed by the sun, moved by the implacable wind. I stare at a couple sitting a bit before me. She is fat, he is bold., they kiss and they seem in love. They share the food. They probably found that compromise which allows every man and woman in love to accept the beloved one without getting ne...
